NDO - Bach Long Vi is one of the two island districts of Hai Phong and the most remote island in the Gulf of Tonkin. During the recent Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi), many facilities and trees on the island were damaged. But with the strength of unity, the military and people of the island district joined hands to overcome the severe consequences of the storm, bringing life back to normal and stable. We arrived in Bach Long Vi in mid-November when the weather was beautiful. The sky was blue, the clouds white, and the sea stretched endlessly. The fishing logistics center was bustling with buyers and sellers. Along the main roads, units were displaying banners and slogans welcoming the National Unity Day.
