Vo Thanh Vinh's work, "Sparkling Orange Notes," won the gold medal.
The artwork was awarded the gold medal in the EVN – 70 Years of Innovation with the Country art photography competition, organized jointly by the Vietnam Electricity Group and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
The awards ceremony took place on August 22nd in Hanoi .
The work was highly praised for its unique perspective and interesting discovery, evoking strong emotions in viewers.
The image of the electrical workers in orange uniforms hanging precariously from power lines in mid-air was captured by Vo Thanh Vinh from a distance.
The angle of the shot makes the image of these dedicated workers appear as tiny orange dots amidst the rows of electrical wires, like musical notes on the lines of a piece of music.
Therefore, the name "Sparkling Orange Musical Notes" is not only very fitting but also evokes many beautiful emotions about the dedication of electrical workers, bringing many benefits and joy to life.
Besides the gold medal, the two silver medal-winning works, "Mastering New Technology" by Nguyen Van Dong ( Khanh Hoa province) and "Morning Mist over the Son La Hydropower Plant" by Vu Phi Long (Son La province), also evoked strong emotions in viewers regarding the grandeur of the power plant and the modern development of the electricity industry today.
The photo series "Soc Trang Power Plant – Electrifying Rural Areas" by Kieu Anh Dung (Ho Chi Minh City), "A New Day at Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant" by Nguyen Phuc Anh (Thai Binh Province), and "500kV Circuit 3" by Vu Minh Quan (Hanoi) also evoke similar emotions.
In addition, the organizers also awarded five consolation prizes and selected over 100 beautiful works for exhibition at the headquarters of Vietnam Electricity Corporation in Hanoi.

Vu Minh Quan's work, "500kV Circuit 3," won a bronze medal.
