Over 3,300 candidates participated in the Aptitude Assessment Exam.

On the morning of April 5th, at the Nha Trang University examination center, more than 3,300 candidates participated in the first phase of the 2026 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's Aptitude Assessment Exam.

The examination cluster comprises 5 examination sites with 98 examination rooms, including 4 sites at Nha Trang University and 1 site at Nguyen Van Troi High School (Nha Trang ward). Nha Trang University mobilized approximately 300 staff members to participate in invigilation duties and more than 50 students to provide support during the examination period.

Candidates take the exam at a testing center belonging to Nha Trang University.

The Aptitude Test consists of 120 multiple-choice questions, with a time limit of 150 minutes. The structure and content of the test are based on the adjusted test structure to be applied from 2025, in line with the 2018 General Education Program. The test comprises three sections: Language Use (30 questions in Vietnamese and 30 questions in English); Mathematics (30 questions); and Scientific Thinking (30 questions).

The first exam of 2026 is the largest-scale aptitude test ever held by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, with over 135,000 candidates registering to take the exam in 15 provinces and cities nationwide.

Besides the member universities of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, many universities and colleges nationwide are currently using the results of this exam for admissions. The results of the first exam will be announced on April 17th.
