Mr. San checks the quality of unburnt bricks before selling them to customers.

Mr. Le Van San was born and raised in Rung Cam Cham Non village, Tan Thanh commune. After graduating from high school in 2005, he joined the military service, stationed at Regiment 141, Division 3, Military Region 1. In 2009, Mr. San was discharged from the army. Recognizing the increasing demand for building materials for houses and transportation infrastructure in his commune and neighboring communes, he proactively invested in developing production and business activities to serve the local community.

Mr. San said: "In 2013, with the capital I had saved and money borrowed from relatives, I invested in buying two wheel loaders, a non-fired brick making machine, and trading in several items such as iron, steel, sand, and cement... At that time, the family's production and business activities were very favorable, and the family actively produced bricks to meet the construction needs of the people."

To expand production and business, in 2019, Mr. San decided to establish San Bang 186 Construction and Investment Company Limited with a registered capital of over 8 billion VND. The company mainly operates in the production and trading of various construction materials. Its main markets are within the commune, neighboring areas, and some provinces such as Thai Nguyen and Bac Giang .

Accordingly, Mr. San invested in more vehicles and specialized machinery to support production, loading, and transportation of construction materials. Currently, the company has 4 tractor-trailers, 5 small trucks, and many other specialized machines with an investment cost of over 10 billion VND. At the same time, he invested in expanding the production area and warehouse to 1.5 hectares. Currently, the company produces and supplies an average of more than 150,000 bricks to the market each month. In addition, each month the company also imports and sells more than 500 m3 of sand, 700 tons of cement; and imports, sells, and transports over 1,000 cubic meters of crushed stone to customers.

From developing the production, business, and transportation of various construction materials, the company has generated approximately 5 billion VND in revenue annually since 2020. After deducting expenses, the family earns 600 million VND per year. Every year, Mr. San pays all taxes as required. In addition to developing his family's economy , he currently provides stable employment for 8 to 12 local workers.

Mr. Le Duc Duy, a driver at the company, said: "Since 2019, Mr. San has hired me to work at the company. As a driver specializing in transporting construction materials, I earn over 10 million VND per month. Thanks to Mr. San, I have a stable job with a steady income and don't have to commute far from home."

With a stable income, over the years, Mr. San has always proactively and actively participated in effective community mobilization models in the locality. From 2021 to the present, he has contributed and supported social projects with over 458 million VND to implement specific projects and tasks such as: building new rural areas, constructing cultural centers, sports fields, etc. Every year, his family donates gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, and households affected by natural disasters in the area with an amount exceeding 10 million VND.

In addition, Mr. San mobilized 48 households in Rung Cam Cham Non village to contribute money and labor to install streetlights in the village; and persuaded 8 households to donate 1,800 m2 of land to expand the village road, facilitating transportation.

Ms. Phan Thi Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Thanh Commune, commented: "Over the years, Mr. San has actively developed his family's economy, creating jobs for several local laborers. He has also enthusiastically participated in and actively supported social activities and social welfare programs launched by the local Party committee and government. His contributions over the years have helped build and complete the criteria for new rural development, care for policy beneficiary families, and improve the lives of people in the area."

Thanks to those efforts and endeavors, in September 2025, Mr. San received a commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for being a model of effective mass mobilization in economic development during the 2021-2025 period.
