SJC gold bars are currently being sold by banks such as Agribank , BIDV, Vietcombank, VietinBank, and gold and jewelry companies at 82 million VND per tael. On the buying side, the price of gold from various brands is listed at 80 million VND per tael.

Gold bars from brands like DOJI , Bao Tin Manh Hai, and Bao Tin Minh Chau are trading at 80.0 million VND/ounce for buying and 82.0 million VND/ounce for selling. The difference between the buying and selling prices is 2,000,000 VND/ounce.
While the price of SJC gold bars remained stable, the price of gold rings surged, surpassing its previous record high.
For gold rings, the listed price for SJC 9999 gold is 79.6 million VND/ounce for buying and 80.8 million VND/ounce for selling, an increase of 600,000 VND in both directions.
DOJI in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City adjusted its gold prices upwards by 700,000 VND for buying and 650,000 VND for selling, reaching 80.1 million VND/ounce and 81.2 million VND/ounce respectively. PNJ branded gold rings were listed at 79.9 million VND/ounce and 81.1 million VND/ounce for selling, an increase of 400,000 VND for buying and 550,000 VND for selling.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of plain gold rings at 80.08 million VND/ounce for buying and 81.18 million VND/ounce for selling, an increase of 690,000 VND for buying and 640,000 VND for selling.
Phu Quy SJC is currently buying gold rings at 80.1 million VND/ounce and selling them at 81.2 million VND/ounce, an increase of 650,000 VND in both directions compared to early yesterday morning.

According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 5:00 AM Vietnam time today was $2,628.61 per ounce. Today's gold price increased by $7.48 compared to yesterday's price. Converted using the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is approximately VND 77.154 million per tael (excluding taxes and fees). Therefore, the price of SJC gold bars remains VND 2.846 million per tael higher than the international gold price.

Despite the recovery of the US dollar, optimism following the Federal Reserve's interest rate cut last week, combined with geopolitical tensions, continues to fuel gold's upward trend.
According to Bart Melek, head of commodity strategy at TD Securities, the market is still reacting to the Fed's 50-basis-point rate cut last Wednesday... The US central bank has signaled that it is not really worried about inflation and will do its best to control unemployment.
Melek argues that if employment rates fall sharply, the market will believe the Fed may cut interest rates even more aggressively, which would be very beneficial for gold. He also added that instability in the Middle East could also fuel the price increase of this precious metal.
Ryan McIntyre, Managing Partner at Sprott Inc., said: “ We can’t escape this financial situation, and that’s why all roads lead to gold. Eventually, the vast majority of investors will find their way to gold. And gold will definitely surpass $3,000 an ounce; it’s just a matter of time .”
