According to ZDNet , there has been no official statement from Apple against Flipper Zero, however reviews show that the above error no longer occurs after the iPhone is updated to iOS 17.2 that Apple released not long ago.

iPhone users will be safe with Flipper Zero after updating to iOS 17.2

Speaking of the Flipper Zero, the tiny hacking device has been shown to be capable of disabling iPhones running iOS 17 and older versions of the platform when they are nearby. A third-party firmware called Flipper Xtreme has allowed the Flipper Zero's built-in Bluetooth radio module to send a large number of requests to connect peripherals to all iPhones within its range.

The attack does not harm the iPhone in any way, but the user will see a series of Bluetooth connection requests on the screen. This makes other functions of the phone inoperable. At that point, the only way to stop the attack is to turn off Bluetooth on the iPhone.

Now, with iOS 17.2, users no longer need to do this as Apple may have addressed the issue. Testing an iPhone updated to iOS 17.2 and holding it close to the Flipper Zero device showed that only a pop-up appeared on the device, which was not enough to cause widespread issues. Apple has yet to comment on the issue, but current iPhone owners should update to iOS 17.2 as soon as possible.
