Apple releases iOS 18.4 beta 2

More than a week after releasing the iOS/iPadOS 18.4 beta 1 update, Apple has released a new beta version.

iOS 18.4 reportedly brings Apple Intelligence's Priority Notifications feature, designed to identify which notifications are important and then mark them in a dedicated, easily visible section on the lock screen.

In addition, with the new update, Apple News+ subscribers will have an enhanced experience with Apple News+ Food – a collection of recipes, food stories, and healthy eating tips – and the addition of Sketch style to Image Playground so users can create images that look like they were hand-drawn.

Apple Intelligence also supports more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified), along with localized English for Singapore and India.

Future updates will bring the Vision Pro app, allowing users to manage their VR headset while supporting exploration , content gathering, and downloading new apps, games, and TV content via the app on their iPhone. Additionally, Mail Categorization is now available on the iPad, and there's Ambient Music for playing relaxing music from the Control Center.

Developers can download iOS 18.4 beta 2 and iPadOS 18.4 beta 2 by going to Settings - General - Software Update.
