Astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming, and Zhang Lu were all in good health and successfully exited the spacecraft module, marking the successful conclusion of the Shenzhou 15 mission and its crew.
The Shenzhou 15 spacecraft was launched into space on November 29, 2022, and subsequently docked with the Tianhe core module to form a complex. During its time in orbit, the three astronauts completed numerous space science experiments, performed four spacewalks, carried out various tasks including equipment installation, coordinated the transport of cargo out of the module, and laid the foundation for future science and technology experiments outside the module.
Reportedly, the Shenzhou 15 crew had the highest average age of a crew working in orbit, setting a record for the number of spacewalks in China's aerospace industry, and witnessed the historic moment when the Chinese space station completed construction and entered the operational and application phase.
