Bac Ninh will provide financial support for students.

Speaking with a reporter from Tien Phong newspaper , a leader of the Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Education and Training said that the agency is submitting a policy to support tuition fees for students to the competent authorities for consideration.

Accordingly, the conditions for receiving support are that students residing in Bac Ninh province must be ethnic minorities; belong to poor or near-poor households; be disabled; or have no source of support, as stipulated in Clauses 1 and 2 of Article 5 of Government Decree No. 20/2021/ND-CP dated March 15, 2021.

These individuals have completed lower secondary (junior high) or upper secondary (high) education at educational institutions in Bac Ninh province within one year from the date of graduation, admission, and enrollment in vocational secondary, intermediate, or college-level programs in Bac Ninh province from the 2025-2026 to the 2029-2030 academic years.

Students residing in Bac Ninh province who have completed the lower secondary education program at educational institutions in the province within one year from the date of graduation by the competent authority, or who have been admitted and are participating in vocational secondary education or intermediate-level training at training institutions in Bac Ninh province from the 2025-2026 to the 2029-2030 academic years.

Bac Ninh plans to provide financial support for students' education.

Each student is only eligible for support once. If a student is studying simultaneously at multiple educational institutions, they are only eligible for the support at the institution of their choice.

The period for receiving support is based on the actual duration of the course and does not exceed 10 months per academic year; not exceed 20 months per course for vocational secondary or intermediate level training programs; and not exceed 30 months per course for college-level training programs.

Students enrolled in training programs using a module-based credit system will receive financial support based on the converted training time, but not exceeding the training time of their chosen field of study and equivalent training level according to the academic year system. This support will apply to newly enrolled students from the 2025-2026 academic year onwards. Depending on the individual, each student will receive support ranging from 200,000 VND to 400,000 VND per month.
