Just minutes before the show began, a reporter from Tien Phong Newspaper spoke with DJ/Producer Hoaprox, who would be the first performer at the "Youth" concert . Hoaprox said his initial feeling was nervousness, because by the opening night at 7:30 PM, 20,000 spectators had already settled into their seats in the areas arranged by the organizers.
Hoaprox has performed on numerous large-scale music stages with tens of thousands of spectators, both domestically and internationally, but this time is different. He shared: "I know the 'Youth' concert is a special program with artistic and political elements. The fact that a DJ is present here makes me proud. And the DJ set chosen to open the concert, when the audience is already full, makes me feel both excited and nervous."
Emotional music, fireworks illuminating the sky.
BTC mobilized hundreds of staff and volunteers to set up a ticket checking "battlefield." All members worked diligently and decisively to ensure each ticket matched the audience member's information on their original Citizen Identification Card (or VNeID). This was followed by the process of directing and assisting audience members to ensure everyone arrived at the concert before the scheduled start time.
The DJ/Producer was tasked with performing a set lasting approximately 30 minutes, as an "appetizer" to warm up the "musical feast." The concert's music began with the familiar melody of "With You" (Improvisation) , an iconic hit in the Vietnamese electronic music scene.

Bringing a DJ set onto the stage to energize the crowd before the show begins is a calculated and unconventional move by the organizers – the Youth Concert is a music event that brings together audiences of all ages, including those over 16. The DJ's music is a crucial element in stimulating excitement in the large venue and connecting generations of audience members.
The Youth Concert takes the audience through three emotional stages. First, there is a series of classic songs associated with the traditions of the Youth Union, meticulously produced with elaborate stage design, choreography, and visual effects on giant screens.
With its explosive music and visually stunning presentation, the "Youth" concert evokes memories of the heroic years of the resistance wars, where our fathers and brothers dedicated their youth to sacrificing for national independence. Following this is Chapter 2 of the "Youth" concert , reflecting the modern and energetic lives of young people representing the green uniforms of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union today.
The Youth Concert reached its climax in Chapter 3 with a series of performances showcasing the enthusiasm, courage, and patriotism of today's youth. One by one, Hoa Minzy, Lam Phuc, Dong Hung, Double2T, Vo Ha Tram, Ha Myo, Tran Ngoc Anh, buitruonglinh, CONGB, Muoi, and Quang Hung MasterD took to the stage, much to the audience's excitement.
In addition, there are the "unsung heroes"—hundreds of people from the Student Union, Children's Union, and dance troupe—who participated in the performances and stage design. A special highlight of the Youth Concert lies in the fireworks displays for each artist's performance, before activating a 6-minute fireworks display to bring the concert to a spectacular and complete conclusion.

The difficult problem has been solved.
Tien Phong Newspaper invited 12 artists to the concert, divided into 4 distinct groups. First is the vocalist group (with strong voices) including Dong Hung, Vo Ha Tram, Lam Phuc, and Tran Ngoc Anh. Next are the stars leading the trending Vpop music: Hoa Minzy, Quang Hung MasterD, Double2T, buitruonglinh, Ha Myo, and Hoaprox. And finally, two promising young talents: CONGB and Muoii.
The spirit of the Youth Concert was a harmonious blend of traditional elements and popular music catering to the tastes of young audiences. Looking at the audience area, there were young people carrying posters to "follow" their idols. And there were also audience members wearing shirts with the Vietnamese flag, carrying the Vietnamese flag to join in the patriotic spirit.
The music at the concert won't lean heavily towards any one genre; instead, it will be about balance. That's the challenge for the production team. Because if the show is too academic, it will be difficult to reach young people. And a show that's too simplistic and purely entertainment-oriented won't fully convey the message of the "Youth" concert .
The music production team explored various options to select the song list for the "Youth" concert . One effective approach was to mash up traditional and popular songs. Each performance largely alternated between a traditional song and a hit song popular with the audience.

When the Youth Concert becomes a part of the "youth" of 20,000 audience members.
Each artist who took to the stage at the Youth Concert shone in their own way. Dong Hung stunned the audience with his powerful vocals and continuous high notes during the climax of "It's My Life. " Vo Ha Tram sang live flawlessly and did an excellent job of setting the rhythm for the 20,000 audience members to sing along.
Hòa Minzy brought a new version of "Thị Màu" to the stage, with the highlight being two drop sections that were more energetic and energizing. Singer Hà Myo composed the completely new segment specifically for the "Youth" concert , completing it just a few hours before the show.
Ha Myo rearranged Xam folk songs into EDM (House, Drum & Bass) tracks, surprising many viewers with the novelty of a musical style that might seem difficult to listen to but then energized the stage in such a fantastic way.
Quang Hung MasterD proved his star status with a "scorching" performance lasting approximately 30 minutes. The singer's introductory segment alone lasted over 3 minutes, seamlessly combining explosive music, stunning stage effects, and elaborate choreography, igniting the energy of the "Youth" concert .

Hit songs on various platforms like "Catch Me If You Can," "First Love Too Drunk," and "Tide" were completely revamped compared to their music video versions, bringing a fresh emotional experience to the " Youth" concert, featuring the vocals of Quang Hung MasterD. Other popular hits like "Prosperous Vietnam Shines Brightly" by buitruonglinh evoked feelings of pride and excitement as the song's creator himself performed at the "Youth" concert .
Quang Hung MasterD finished his set and left the stage, but that wasn't the end. The Youth Concert welcomed a large contingent including the Children's Group, the Student Group, and dancers in a mashup of "My House Has a Flag Hanging Down" and "I'll Always Remember This Trip ."
Images of the Vietnamese flag (red with a yellow star) flooded the giant LED screens, adorned the hands of dancers and students, and were draped over the shoulders of children. Over 20,000 spectators sang along, creating the most moving stage at the "Youth" concert . And that was the perfect conclusion to the main part of the special music program organized by Tien Phong Newspaper.
BTC treated the audience to a "musical feast" until the very last minute of the show. The DJ/Producer and MC brought the stage back to life. Initially, this set was intended as a thank you and farewell to the audience for their time. However, thousands stayed to enjoy the explosive EDM tracks. They held hands, forming a "train" to fully immerse themselves in the music.
A reporter from Tien Phong Newspaper approached Hoaprox and asked, "How do you feel about the large number of audience members staying with DJ and MC Hype until the very last minute of the concert?" Hoaprox emotionally exclaimed, "It's amazing because the stage was explosive until the end. This is definitely a concert that will leave a lasting impression and open up many breakthroughs."
Hoaprox jokingly told the show's crew: "If the music continues to play, I think the audience will stay and get carried away by the music of youth and youthful enthusiasm."
