- Despite being significantly impacted by the adjustment of administrative areas, resulting in a decrease of over 4,300 participants, the Trang Dinh branch of the Social Insurance (BHXH) agency persevered in its efforts to expand the number of participants in social insurance and health insurance last year. This unit led the entire province in social insurance and health insurance revenue in 2025.

Social insurance officials in Trang Dinh commune are educating the public about voluntary social insurance policies.

In June 2025, the Trang Dinh Social Insurance Office organized a voluntary social insurance policy awareness session in Doan Ket commune. Instead of dry theory, the session was lively and engaging, conducted through direct dialogue. Social insurance officials thoroughly answered all residents' questions, from interrupted contributions and flexible contribution adjustments based on family finances to the actual value of future pensions. The approachable communication style fostered trust among residents, encouraging them to proactively register for participation right in the meeting hall to accumulate savings for the future.

Ms. Nong Thi Hanh, from Na Slan village, Doan Ket commune, shared: "Previously, I thought social insurance was only for people working in companies. After hearing the officials' clear explanation, I understand that this is a long-term support system. My family's farming life is unstable, so I registered for voluntary social insurance to avoid depending on my children and grandchildren in the future."

Not only in Doan Ket commune, but in 2025, the Trang Dinh branch of the Social Insurance agency coordinated the organization of 11 conferences to provide direct consultation, support, and answers regarding insurance policies to more than 230 people. Along with focused propaganda, the unit also coordinated with service organizations to conduct small-group propaganda in each village within its assigned area. The propaganda content focused on clarifying the long-term benefits of social insurance and health insurance, linking policies to specific cases at the grassroots level, thereby creating a ripple effect in the community. Ms. Nong Thuy Dung, the propaganda specialist at the Trang Dinh branch of the Social Insurance agency, said: "We consider each new participant as a 'propaganda core.' When people clearly see their rights and long-term security, they are willing to share and encourage their relatives and neighbors to participate."

Along with the above solutions, the Trang Dinh branch of the Social Insurance agency also ensures the efficient processing and payment of pensions and social insurance benefits in a complete, timely, and secure manner; promotes cashless payments, and improves the quality of service for the people. Mr. Be Dong, Deputy Director of the Trang Dinh branch of the Social Insurance agency, shared: The adjustment of the management area, which reduces the number of participants, is an objective difficulty. Therefore, social insurance officials must stay closer to the grassroots level, focusing on each target group, especially voluntary and compulsory social insurance, to maintain stability while creating substantial growth.

Thanks to these methods, the number of people participating in social insurance and health insurance in 2025 will continue to increase compared to the previous year. Specifically, the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance reached 1,381, an increase of 139; and health insurance reached 52,773, an increase of 4,210. This clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of the "going door-to-door" approach, bringing policies to farmers and self-employed workers. The health insurance coverage rate in the area reached 93%, continuing to maintain a high level, contributing to ensuring the health care rights of the people. Based on this foundation of increased participation, the collection work of the Trang Dinh local social insurance agency achieved outstanding results. In 2025, the total revenue from social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance reached over 166 billion VND, equivalent to 117.5% of the plan, exceeding the provincial social insurance target by 17.5%, making Trang Dinh the unit with the highest revenue in the entire province.
