On October 24th, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department organized a lottery program to select "Lucky Invoices" for the third quarter of 2024.

The program is implemented based on a database of electronic invoices with tax authority codes, ensuring that invoices contain complete buyer information and were created between July 1, 2024 and September 30, 2024. The "Lucky Invoice" program applies throughout the province, for all invoices with tax authority codes, including electronic invoices generated from cash registers of eligible organizations and business households.

At the event, in the presence of the Supervisory Board, the Organizing Committee randomly selected 269,913 eligible invoices for the prize draw. This number is 20 times greater than the first time the "Lucky Invoice" prize draw was held.

As a result, 44 lucky invoices from individuals and business households won prizes. These included one first prize of 10 million VND for customer Le Doan Hoang, who purchased goods from Thanh Thang Trading Co., Ltd.; three second prizes of 5 million VND each; five third prizes of 3 million VND each; and 35 consolation prizes of 2 million VND each.

All winning invoices are electronic invoices with tax authority codes and buyer identification information (tax code, citizen identification number/passport). Winning invoices do not include canceled, adjusted, replaced invoices, or invoices with identical tax codes for both the seller and the buyer. The program ensures transparency, objectivity, and strict supervision, aiming to encourage people to obtain electronic invoices when purchasing goods and services, contributing to protecting consumer rights and strengthening tax management.

The Lucky Receipt Program ensures that the selection of winning receipts is objective, open, transparent, and subject to strict supervision by the Supervisory Board. The program aims to encourage shoppers to develop the habit of requesting receipts when purchasing goods and services; it also emphasizes their responsibility and obligation to comply with tax laws and to use electronic invoices with tax authority codes.

The specific results of the program will be publicly announced and detailed by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department on its electronic portal https://thanhhoa.gdt.gov.vn and through mass media, and prizes will be awarded to winners according to regulations.
