Previously, at around 0:10 a.m. on July 31, while patrolling Hamlet 7, the Commune Police force discovered a Pangolin crawling on a dirt road from a report from the people. Recognizing that this was an endangered and rare wild animal belonging to Group IB according to Decree 06/2019/ND-CP of the Government , the working group quickly protected the Pangolin and reported to the leaders to coordinate the handover in accordance with regulations.

That same night, Loc Hung Commune Police contacted specialized units to receive and care for the animal. The pangolin weighed 5kg and was about 30cm long.

Loc Hung Commune Police also called on people not to hunt, keep or trade wild animals. When discovering cases of animals being injured, trapped or needing rescue, people should immediately contact the authorities for timely support.
