The exhibition showcases 19 works inspired by Vietnamese folk imagery and aesthetic elements, reinterpreted through contemporary artistic thought. The works, rendered in a variety of mediums from watercolor to oil and acrylic, open up a multi-layered space where tradition and modernity intersect. Contemporary realism, through the unique perspectives of three artists with distinct artistic sensibilities, converges and blends harmoniously into a visually diverse and emotionally rich "symphony."

In the world of Nguyen Dinh Vu's paintings (who graduated with a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the Vietnam Fine Arts University in 2013), everything is arranged in a specific order, creating a multi-layered world where cultural, technical, and meaningful layers intertwine intentionally. Standing before Nguyen Dinh Vu's works, viewers can perceive and discover different meanings depending on their personal perspective, because each of his pieces contains multiple layers of meaning, from contemporary social issues to the profound anxieties of the artist's soul...

Dang Quang Tien (a graduate of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts in 2018) previously captivated viewers with his painting of ducks running across a field, spanning over 7 meters. In this exhibition, he continues to showcase the vibrant colors of life in the Southwestern region of Vietnam. Breaking away from the traditional, gentle, and transparent watercolor style, the artist boldly explores bold colors, combined with meticulous and realistic brushstrokes, creating striking contrasting images.

Meanwhile, with the works of Nguyen Dinh Viet (a graduate of Hue University of Arts in 2014), viewers are transported to another dimension, where reality and surrealism intertwine. Using acrylic and oil paint techniques, he recreates the ancient landscapes and architecture of Hue with a look that is both realistic and ethereal, depicting the depth and unique cultural values of this land. The minimalist composition and muted color palette, with shades of blue and charcoal gray blending together in a nostalgic way, create a mysterious beauty, drawing viewers into a space that is both familiar and strange.
