Among that team, Major Vu Van Cuong, Deputy Head of Operations at Si Pha Phin Border Guard Station (Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard Command), is a prime example of political fortitude, dedication, and unwavering determination in the fight against crime and the firm protection of national sovereignty and border security.
Born in 1993, Vu Van Cuong appears quite "tough," perhaps due to the long months he spent enduring the harsh sun and rain in the remote border regions, battling drug criminals with intense vigilance and physical strength. Having held various positions, from investigator and officer in the Special Task Force for Drug and Crime Prevention to Team Leader of the Drug and Crime Prevention Team, and currently serving as Deputy Head of Operations at the Si Pha Phin Border Guard Post, he has consistently demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and keen insight in gathering information, researching targets, and providing effective advice to the Party Committee and commanders in leading and directing the implementation of tasks.
