In Ha Tinh , the process of merging press agencies has been carried out seriously and systematically in accordance with the spirit of the "National Plan for the Development and Management of the Press until 2025 and beyond".

Following the merger, Ha Tinh Newspaper has the opportunity to innovate its organization and operating model, invest in modern technology, and improve the quality of its content and staff. However, it is undeniable that there were difficulties in the initial period after the merger, such as organizational disruption, the concerns of some staff and reporters, high demands on competence and expertise, and the pressure to innovate and adapt in a multi-platform journalistic environment. Nevertheless, with strong political determination, timely guidance from the province, and the efforts of the journalists themselves, we believe that the post-merger model will yield positive results in the future.

In this new stage of development, our greatest expectation for Ha Tinh Newspaper is to further improve its role as the mouthpiece of the Party Committee, the government, and the voice of the people of the province. To fulfill this task effectively, Ha Tinh Newspaper must enhance the quality of its information and propaganda, ensuring it is properly oriented, timely, accurate, humane, and positively disseminated throughout society.

Furthermore, we must continue to innovate in content and form of expression; strengthen social critique, closely follow the pulse of life and issues of concern to the people, contributing to removing bottlenecks, accompanying the province in the process of socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security, and building a clean and strong Party and political system.

I expect every journalist and reporter of Ha Tinh Newspaper to continuously study and cultivate political acumen, professional ethics, modern journalistic thinking, and multimedia skills to meet the demands of journalism in the digital transformation era. At the same time, they must always maintain a spirit of dedication, responsibility, and love for their homeland and for journalism – a noble but also challenging profession.

Ky Anh town was established in 2015, and at the same time, the locality strengthened its coordination in disseminating information with local and central press agencies operating in the area. Policies and guidelines from the central and provincial governments, as well as important local issues and areas, were promptly publicized, contributing to the spread of information to all segments of the population.

Press agencies based in Ha Tinh province have also promptly reported on problems, issues, and shortcomings arising from the grassroots level... thereby helping Party committees, governments at all levels, and relevant departments in the locality to overcome existing problems in management, learn from experience in directing and operating, and propose solutions to address the issues raised by the press. This has contributed to guiding public opinion, creating social consensus, and strengthening the trust of all segments of the population.

In particular, the Ha Tinh Newspaper, with the establishment of a liaison office and the assignment of dedicated reporters to the area, has demonstrated its genuine concern, close attention to, and importance placed on local propaganda work. Major political events in the locality have been prominently reflected through news articles and in-depth thematic reports. These works have been well received by the public, creating a ripple effect, encouraging emulation movements, and facilitating socio-economic development in the area.

Having been associated with the Ha Tinh Social Protection Center (later the Ha Tinh Orphanage) for 24 years (1992-2016), I have developed close relationships and deep affections with generations of staff and journalists from various media outlets.

In the early days of the province's re-establishment (1991), people were very "information-hungry," so printed newspapers such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, Ha Tinh Newspaper, and Tien Phong Newspaper became the main channels for people to grasp the Party and State's policies and the socio-economic situation. I still vividly remember the feeling of excitement and anticipation to hold in my hands those newspapers still smelling of fresh ink.

In 1992, the Social Welfare Center was established and began operating amidst numerous difficulties: poor facilities, limited staff, and meager funding. Driven by a sense of responsibility and dedication to their profession, reporters from local newspapers, especially Ha Tinh Newspaper, visited the center and its orphaned children. The articles about these disadvantaged lives published in the newspaper had a widespread impact on the community, leading to the center receiving attention and support from many benefactors and philanthropists. It is because of this kindness that for over 30 years, I have hardly missed a single issue of Ha Tinh Newspaper.

Today, information is abundant on news platforms, television, and social media, but every morning, I still wait for the postman to receive quality information and articles from the newspapers I've cherished for decades.

As an older person, I don't use smartphones like younger people to watch the news, but every evening, I still spend time in front of the TV screen watching the television programs of Ha Tinh Newspaper.

I often watch news programs and segments reflecting the lives of workers, culture, health, education , etc. Each program has its own unique style, but they all share a common thread: they are relatable, easy to understand, and accurately reflect the realities of local life.

In particular, Ha Tinh Newspaper Television has promptly reflected negative and pressing issues arising from the grassroots level. With the segment "Following the Letters from Television Viewers," many "hot" issues at the grassroots level have been promptly reported, such as: violations of laws on land management and use, environmental pollution; resolving entitlements and policies for war veterans and workers; irregularities in state management, in the process of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas... This has helped authorities at all levels quickly intervene, handle issues effectively and satisfactorily, contributing to strengthening public trust.

I hope that in the future, Ha Tinh Newspaper will continue to maintain and develop its television programs in a more in-depth direction; promptly grasping and reflecting pressing issues at the grassroots level, and the difficulties and concerns of the people. The closeness, authenticity, and timeliness of these programs are what make us feel heard and supported.

As a young person, I regularly update myself on the news through online newspapers as a daily habit. Online newspapers are like a "guidebook" that helps us grasp comprehensive information from current events, politics, economics, culture, and life... What particularly impresses me about online newspapers is the way they present content concisely and clearly, with vivid images and videos, suitable for the fast-paced life and information access preferences of today's youth.

I was particularly impressed with some sections such as: Youth Life (Tuoi Tre Newspaper); Green Wave (Tien Phong Newspaper); Youth (Thanh Nien Newspaper), Perspectives (VnExpress)...

I believe that, with its modern, accessible, and up-to-date approach to journalism, online newspapers are truly becoming a companion for young people, not only in accessing information but also in shaping their thinking, nurturing their aspirations, and encouraging them to live more responsibly.

As a resident of Ha Tinh, I regularly follow the Ha Tinh Newspaper's online platform and other digital platforms to stay updated on local news. In recent years, in addition to the website baohatinh.vn, the Ha Tinh Newspaper's online platform has also invested in building and developing digital platforms on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc. These information channels are very creative, engaging, and convenient for readers to follow, grasp information, and interact and exchange opinions.

Hopefully, in the future, the press in general, and Ha Tinh Online Newspaper in particular, will continue to develop in-depth content for young people, creating a forum for youth to share their voices and opinions…
