In Ha Tinh , the process of merging press agencies was carried out seriously and systematically in accordance with the spirit of "Planning for the development and management of the national press until 2025 and the following years".
After the merger, Ha Tinh Newspaper has the conditions to innovate its organization, operating model, invest in modern technology, and at the same time, improve the quality of content and staff and reporters. However, it is undeniable that there were difficulties in the initial stage after the merger such as: organizational disruption, the mindset of a number of staff and reporters; high requirements for capacity and expertise; pressure to innovate and adapt in a multi-platform journalism environment. However, with high political determination, timely direction from the province and efforts from the press team itself, we believe that the post-merger model will bring about positive effects in the coming time.
In the new development stage, the greatest expectation we have for Ha Tinh Newspaper is to further improve its role as the mouthpiece of the Party Committee, the government and the voice of the people of the province. To fulfill that task well, Ha Tinh Newspaper must improve the quality of information and propaganda, ensuring the right direction, timeliness, accuracy, humanity and positive spread in social life.
Along with that, continue to innovate content and forms of expression; strengthen social criticism, closely follow the breath of life and issues of concern to the people, contribute to removing bottlenecks, accompany the province in the process of socio-economic development, maintain national defense and security, build a clean and strong Party and political system.
I expect every journalist and reporter of Ha Tinh Newspaper to continuously study and practice political qualities, professional ethics, modern journalism thinking and multimedia skills to meet the requirements of journalism in the digital transformation era. Ky Anh town was established in 2015 and at the same time, the locality strengthened the coordination of propaganda work with local and central press agencies located in the area. During 24 years (1992-2016) working at the Ha Tinh Social Protection Center (later Ha Tinh Orphanage), I had a close relationship and deep affection for generations of cadres and reporters from press agencies.
In the early days of the province’s re-establishment (1991), people were “hungry for information”, so printed newspapers such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, Ha Tinh Newspaper, Tien Phong Newspaper… became the main information channels for people to grasp the policies of the Party and State and the socio-economic situation. I still remember the feeling of excitement and anticipation to hold in my hands the newspapers that still smelled of ink.
In 1992, the Social Protection Center was established and put into operation with many difficulties: poor facilities, few human resources, limited funding... With a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for the profession, reporters from local newspapers, especially Ha Tinh Newspaper, came to the center and the orphans. And the articles about disadvantaged lives published in the newspaper had a widespread influence on the community, thanks to which the center received the attention and help of many benefactors and philanthropists. It is also because of these favors that for more than 30 years, I have almost never missed an issue of Ha Tinh Newspaper.
Nowadays, information is flooded on newspapers, television, and social networks, but every morning, I still wait for the postman to read quality information and articles from the newspapers that I have loved for decades.

As an older person, I do not use smartphones like young people to watch the news, but every night, I spend time sitting in front of the TV screen to watch Ha Tinh Newspaper's TV programs.
I often watch news programs, columns reflecting working life, culture, health,education ... Each program has its own color but the common point is that it is close, easy to understand and accurately reflects the reality of local life.
In particular, Ha Tinh Newspaper Television has promptly reflected negative and pressing issues arising from the grassroots. With the column "Following the letters of your television viewers", many "hot" issues of the grassroots have been promptly reflected such as: violations of the law on land management and use, environmental pollution; resolving regimes and policies for people with meritorious services, laborers; violations in State management, in the process of building new rural areas, civilized urban areas... From there, it has helped authorities at all levels quickly intervene, handle effectively and satisfactorily, contributing to strengthening people's trust.
I hope that in the future, Ha Tinh Newspaper will continue to maintain and develop in-depth television programs; promptly grasp and reflect pressing issues at the grassroots level, the difficulties and concerns of the people. The closeness, authenticity and timeliness of the programs are what make us, the people, feel listened to and accompanied.

As a young person, I regularly update news through electronic newspapers as a daily habit.
