Typhoon No. 1 is accelerating towards the North-Northwest.

(HTV) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 5 PM on July 3rd, Typhoon No. 1 was approximately 310km from the Bach Long Vi Special Economic Zone, maintaining an intensity of level 8-9, with gusts up to level 11, and accelerating its movement.

At 5 PM on July 3rd, the center of Typhoon No. 1 was located at approximately 18.4 degrees North latitude and 109.9 degrees East longitude, about 310km southeast of Bach Long Vi Special Economic Zone ( Hai Phong ) and about 400km southeast of Mong Cai (Quang Ninh). The typhoon had maximum wind speeds of level 8-9 (62-88 km/h ), with gusts up to level 11. In the next 3 hours, the typhoon will move in a North-Northwest direction at a speed of about 15-20 km/h .

Over the next 3 hours, the storm will move in a north-northwest direction at a speed of approximately 15-20 km/h.
