International integration has helped us absorb a lot of experience in preserving and promoting cultural heritages from advanced countries in the world. The restoration, repair and preservation of heritage sites in Hue, Hoi An and My Son have been applied many modern methods.
The Complex of Hue Monuments is a combination of many aspects of the palace from the Nguyen Dynasty (the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam) with the Imperial Citadel of Hue including Ngo Mon and many tombs of Emperor Nguyen such as Gia Long, Minh Mang, Thieu Tri, Tu Duc, Khai Dinh and many other temple relics. In the past time, with domestic and international resources, this relic complex has been revived, depicting a part of its glorious golden silhouette as before.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is currently focusing on completing the project to digitize Vietnam's Cultural Heritage in the period of 2021 - 2030 and the project to build a digital map to manage and link the data of Vietnam's Cultural Heritage data for the period of 2021 - 2030, in which the goal is to extend the technological arm, retain the important database of the past in order to preserve and promote the value of the Heritage in a fundamental way and in the future for a sustainable, economic development.
