Suspect arrested for motorcycle theft across communes and wards.

On October 1st, the Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police (Lam Dong province) announced that they have initiated a criminal case and indicted Tran Van Hai (born in 1993, residing at Dak Ha Hamlet 2, Bac Gia Nghia Ward, Lam Dong province) on charges of "Theft of property" and "Fraudulent appropriation of property".

Earlier, during patrols and while monitoring individuals suspected of violating the law in the area, the Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police discovered that Hai exhibited suspicious behavior related to theft. The police exchanged information and coordinated with other functional units to monitor him.

On September 14th, Hai drove a Yamaha Exciter motorcycle without a license plate to sell it to Mr. PQK (residing in Hamlet 1, Truong Xuan Commune, Lam Dong Province). Noticing several suspicious signs regarding the vehicle, the Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police, in coordination with the Truong Xuan Commune Police, summoned Hai for questioning to clarify the origin of the property.

At the police station, Hai confessed that from September 10th to 14th, he committed three consecutive thefts, stealing three motorcycles from residents in Dong Gia Nghia ward, Nam Gia Nghia ward, and Truong Xuan commune (Lam Dong province). It is known that Hai has two previous convictions for theft and one prior offense for theft.

Following this incident, the Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police warned: Thieves often exploit loopholes in people's property management and protection, such as leaving motorbikes unlocked, lacking anti-theft devices, or leaving them in unattended areas. Residents need to be more vigilant, proactively protect their property, and report any suspicious activity to the police to help maintain security and order in the area.

During the investigation and verification process, the Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police temporarily seized a Yamaha Exciter motorcycle, license plate 043.57, whose owner, manager, or legal user is currently unknown.
