Bayern's dramatic 4-3 victory over Real Madrid in the second leg of the quarter-finals on April 16th secured their place in the semi-finals (winning 6-4 on aggregate), while also guaranteeing significant revenue from UEFA. To date, the German club has received approximately €83.445 million in prize money, including €18.62 million in participation fees and €14.7 million from their seven group stage wins.
Furthermore, finishing in the top 8 and securing direct entry into the round of 16 brought in an additional €11.625 million for Bayern. The knockout rounds continued to boost Bayern's revenue with €11 million (round of 16), €12.5 million (quarter-finals), and €15 million for reaching the semi-finals.
In addition, Bayern also receives a performance-based coefficient bonus and television rights revenue, estimated at around 43.9 million euros. In total, the Bavarian club could secure nearly 130 million euros, not including revenue from home matches.
If Bayern defeat PSG to reach the final, they will receive an additional €18.5 million. If they win the title, the German club will receive an extra €6.5 million in prize money. Adding the revenue from the European Super Cup, Bayern's total income could increase by up to €30 million.
In the most ideal scenario, Bayern could earn around 160 million euros from this year's Champions League campaign, surpassing the 144.4 million euros that PSG earned when they won the tournament in the 2024/25 season.
