The summer paradise of Nghe An province.
When it comes to beach tourism in Nghe An, besides Cua Lo - a long-standing and famous beach, the name "Quynh Beach" is also gradually establishing its brand. Unlike the hustle and bustle of urban beaches, Quynh Beach possesses a pristine, gentle, yet captivating beauty, like a precious gem still hidden in the central region of Vietnam.

Mr. Le Xuan Diep, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: "I have visited many coastal areas along Central Vietnam, but Quynh Beach has its own unique beauty. What makes it special is that most of the coastline is still pristine, not as noisy and crowded as famous beaches like Cua Lo or Sam Son… Especially, the seafood here is abundant, fresh, and reasonably priced; the people are friendly and hospitable… and the system of guesthouses, hotels, and restaurants has been and is being invested in and built to be clean and beautiful."
Mr. Vu Van Duong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Bang commune, said: For many years, the State has invested in a transportation system connecting National Highway 1A to Quynh Bang beach in particular, and Quynh beach in general, with wide, beautiful, and convenient paved roads for vehicles. Local people have also invested in 8 restaurants and 12 hotels and guesthouses, basically meeting the food and accommodation needs of tourists.

“This summer, along the 3.2km stretch of Quynh Bang beach, there are two more hotels and several restaurants. To create a highlight for tourists, the local authorities are planning to organize a night market, providing visitors with entertainment and seafood shopping opportunities… Before the summer tourist season, the local authorities also mobilized young people and union members to clean up trash and beautify the environment,” said Mr. Vu Van Duong.
Quynh Beach is not just a single beach, but a collective name for seven adjacent beaches stretching nearly 20km across seven coastal communes of Quynh Luu district: Quynh Bang, Quynh Minh, Quynh Luong, Quynh Phuong, Quynh Lien, Quynh Nghia, and Tien Thuy. Each beach here has its own unique characteristics, creating a diverse and rich collection of scenery and experiences.
Quynh Lien Beach impresses with its rocky mountain ranges stretching out into the sea, creating a magnificent horizon. Quynh Nghia Beach, on the other hand, is peaceful and romantic, like a landscape painting, with natural caves, gentle seawater, and a gently sloping sandy beach. Quynh Phuong Beach – located in the northeast of Hoang Mai town – stands out with its lush green casuarina trees and a golden sandy beach stretching over 2km, a favorite destination for nature enthusiasts . Meanwhile, Quynh Phuong Beach is a place where tourism and religious beliefs intersect.

In Quynh Phuong, visitors can visit Quy Linh Temple – a sacred temple located on a hillside, offering panoramic views of the vast ocean from an ideal vantage point. Quynh Minh Beach, on the other hand, is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and find peace and privacy.
With its mild climate and many sunny days, Quynh Beach is an ideal summer destination, especially from May to July each year. This is also the time when the sea is calm, the water is clear, and the beach is clean and safe, making it perfect for swimming, picnicking, and experiencing the life of fishermen.
Under the warm sunshine, the white sandy beaches curve like soft silk ribbons along the coastline. The waves are gentle, and there are no underwater rocks, making it suitable for both adults and children.
One of the most memorable experiences for visitors to Quynh Beach is "playing the role" of a fisherman. You can wake up at dawn, follow the fishermen out to sea to watch the sunrise, witness firsthand the pulling of nets, sorting fish right on the sand, and then immerse yourself in the bustling trading scene at the fish markets.
The people here are simple, honest, and hospitable, and their cuisine is closely associated with the seafood specialties of Quynh: grilled fish, steamed squid, and spicy dipping sauce - all fresh and rich with the taste of the sea.
Rock formations amidst the sea
Quynh Beach is not just about sand and waves. It also boasts a unique cave system, such as Dragon's Eye Cave and Buffalo's Nose Cave, considered natural sculptures. At Dragon's Eye Cave, light from a skylight shines through the teardrop-shaped entrance, reflecting off the turquoise sea and leaving visitors in awe.

Not far away, Mui Trau Cave has a peculiar shape – resembling a buffalo with its head submerged in the sea. On stormy days, waves crashing against the cave create sounds like the breathing of a sea buffalo, giving rise to a captivating legend amidst the sea and sky of Quynh Luu.
The scenery of Quynh Beach at dawn or dusk is captivating. In the morning, as the sun rises above the water, the entire sea is bathed in a brilliant golden light, reflecting off the distant sails. The sight of fishermen returning after a night of fishing, their heavy loads of fish, the lively calls of each other in the fish market at the beach... all create a simple yet vibrant symphony.

As evening falls, Quynh Beach dons a romantic cloak of vibrant red sunset. The sun, like a ball of fire, silently sinks into the sea, leaving streaks of light on the water's surface. This is also the ideal time for couples to capture poetic wedding photos, and for families to gather around a seafood grill, listening to the gentle sound of waves in the tranquil natural surroundings.
With its abundant marine resources, Quynh Beach provides a wide variety of fresh seafood: mackerel, scad, grouper, shrimp, crab, squid, cuttlefish, etc. Tourists can buy them right on the beach as soon as the boats dock, or stop at roadside eateries to enjoy freshly prepared seafood. Each dish is a culmination of the sweetness of the sea, the skillful hands of the locals, and the distinctive savory flavors of Central Vietnamese cuisine.
Quynh Beach, with its pristine beauty, fresh climate, friendly people, and rich cultural identity, is not only an ideal resort but also a space to listen, understand, and further appreciate a land with immense potential.
