Compared to many other beaches in Ha Tinh, Xuan Thanh beach retains its pristine, mysterious, and romantic beauty. The beach stretches for over 5km, with moderately saline water, a gentle slope, and fine white sand. What sets Xuan Thanh apart is the My Duong freshwater stream, flowing parallel to the beach from Hong Linh mountain, winding along its length with coconut trees casting their shadows day and night. The stream isn't deep, but the water never dries up. Standing on the bridge spanning the stream, visitors can admire the vast expanse of the sea. As the sun sets, visitors can immerse themselves in the cool water, enjoy playing in the waves in peaceful moments, and then savor local specialties to appreciate the wonderful gifts nature has bestowed upon this place.

After nearly 20 years of operation, the Xuan Thanh Beach Tourist Area now has more than 150 businesses and individuals investing in tourism and services, with 75 restaurants, 33 accommodation establishments with over 500 rooms, including 9 establishments that have been assessed and ranked, and 42 households providing other supporting services, creating regular jobs for over 500 local workers.
In 2015, to create more recreational space for tourists visiting Xuan Thanh, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to manage the investment project for the construction of a square with an area of nearly 9,000 square meters. In particular, to better meet the needs of tourists, the Tourism Management Board used funds from the Provincial Tourism Development Policy to invest in the construction of a public service area including a souvenir shop showcasing local products, a large-scale parking lot, and standard public restrooms. To date, the project has been completed and is being used effectively.
To help attract tourists and provide more diverse options for visitors to Xuan Thanh beach, the Management Board has established the Xuan Thanh Folk Song Club with nearly 20 members who love culture and arts, especially folk songs. On Saturday and Sunday evenings during the peak beach tourism season (from April to September), the Club performs at the beach to entertain tourists.
Besides swimming, relaxing, and enjoying fresh seafood, visitors to Xuan Thanh can also combine their trip with visits to nearby attractions such as the Nguyen Du Memorial Site, the Nguyen Cong Tru Temple, the Cho Cui Temple, the Xuan Thanh Dog Racing Entertainment Area, etc., or immerse themselves in the melodious folk songs of Ha Tinh to better understand the life, soul, and character of the people. We believe that with the existing advantages of the locality and the close guidance and support from all levels and sectors, the Xuan Thanh beach resort will gradually attract more tourists and become an attractive destination on the Vietnamese tourism map.
