Similarly, with rice, according to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the price of IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 7,500-7,700 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500-9,700 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuates at 7,300-7,500 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800-9,000 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the price of by-products fluctuates from 5,600 - 7,300 VND/kg. Currently, the price of broken rice fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; the price of dry bran fluctuates at 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, the amount of rice arriving continues to decrease, buying and selling transactions continue to be slow. In Lap Vo - Vam Cong (Dong Thap), the amount arriving is low, warehouses are closed for Tet and stop buying. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), all types of rice are priced at the same level, warehouses that are closed for Tet stop buying.

Sa Dec market channel (Dong Thap), low volume, market rice transactions near Tet continue to be slow, rice prices are stable. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), low volume, prices are relatively stable, buyers stop buying and selling during Tet holiday.

At retail markets, rice prices are the same as yesterday. Currently, regular rice fluctuates at 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 28,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice is 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice is 22,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at 18,000 - 20,000 VND/kg; common white rice is 17,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is 22,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is 21,000 VND/kg; Soc rice usually fluctuates at 18,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice is 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice is 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today remained unchanged compared to the weekend. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 5% standard rice is currently at 413 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 387 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 330 USD/ton.
