The competition features 31 delegations with over 1,600 athletes from strong sports teams such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, the Army, Bac Giang, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Binh Phuoc, etc. Notably, this year's competition includes two delegations with 12 athletes from Champasak province (Laos) and Kratie province (Cambodia).
