The Vietnam Military History Museum promises to be an attractive destination during the September 2nd holiday. |
In reality, over the years, it has been observed that during long holidays, the number of incidents such as traffic accidents, fires, and law violations increases dramatically. During last year's National Day holiday (September 2nd), nearly 100 traffic accidents occurred nationwide, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.
Many tragic incidents stem from moments of carelessness and irresponsibility on the part of both citizens and authorities. This serves as a clear lesson, reminding all levels of government, sectors, and localities that they must not be negligent in ensuring security and order.
Recently, the Prime Minister instructed ministries, agencies, and localities to implement comprehensive solutions to ensure security and safety for the people. The police force is strengthening patrols and strictly handling violations; the transport sector is tightening management of bus stations and vehicles; and the culture, sports , and tourism sector is stepping up inspections and checks of services.
At the same time, fire prevention, food safety and hygiene, and cybersecurity are also being monitored at a high level to prevent any mishaps during the holiday.
For a central province like Thai Nguyen, with its transportation links to many other provinces, the number of people and vehicles flocking to tourist areas, scenic spots, and festivals will increase sharply, thus requiring even greater security and order.
Not only law enforcement agencies, but every citizen needs to be clearly aware of their responsibility to obey traffic laws, say no to drunk driving, be vigilant against scams and theft, and not participate in activities that disrupt public order. A safe society cannot rely solely on authorities; it requires the active participation of every citizen.
Peace during the holidays means maintaining peace for each family and community. Every driver adhering to speed limits, every tourist abandoning the habit of littering, every citizen voluntarily practicing fire prevention and maintaining public safety… all contribute to creating a fulfilling holiday, bringing joy and peace of mind to everyone.
This is also a way to build an image of Thai Nguyen as a civilized, safe, and friendly place in the eyes of friends and tourists, while affirming the responsibility and community spirit of each citizen.
When everyone is aware, every sector fulfills its responsibilities, and every community unites, the holidays will surely truly be joyful days for every family, for Thai Nguyen province, and for the whole country. Peace and safety are not things that come naturally, but are the result of joint efforts, responsibility, and concrete actions from each person in the community.
