Coming in at number 9 is the Korean-Japanese girl group Le Sserafim, owned by Hybe. Their YouTube channel has garnered public attention with engaging music videos and other content. The channel boasts 5.52 million subscribers and is estimated to have earned 22.7 billion won (US$17.2 million). |
Ranked 8th is another girl group, IVE. Compared to the two artists above, their YouTube channel has significantly fewer subscribers, only 3.82 million, but they have earned a much larger amount of money: 24.9 billion VND (18.9 million USD). |
Enhypen secured the 7th position on the list with estimated revenue of 30.1 billion won (22.9 million USD). The boy group from Hybe Entertainment has attracted 10.6 million channel subscribers. |
Aespa is the only SM Entertainment group to make the list, ranking 6th. They earn 38.3 billion won per year ($29.1 million) with 6.39 million channel subscribers. |
Seventeen is currently one of the top 3rd generation K-pop groups. They have a YouTube channel with 13.6 million subscribers and earn an estimated 62.4 billion won (US$47.4 million) annually. The group ranks 5th on the list. |
Despite being a relatively new group, NewJeans has shown its significant influence by reaching the top 4. The Gen Z girl group earns 68.3 billion won (51.9 million USD) per year from its YouTube channel with 7.75 million subscribers. |
Despite being on hiatus due to military service, BTS proved their global star status by ranking 3rd. With 79 million subscribers on YouTube, the group earned approximately 82.3 billion won (about $62.5 million USD) in the past year. |
(G)I-DLE's YouTube channel is considered to have good content that suits popular tastes. As a result, they have 8.78 million subscribers and have earned 86 billion won (65.3 million USD). |
Forbes Korea has named BlackPink the most powerful Kpop group on YouTube. The group boasts both the highest number of subscribers on the list (94.9 million) and the highest earnings, totaling 129 billion won (approximately $98.3 million USD). |
