After nearly 20 years of dedication, commentator Ta Bien Cuong has submitted his resignation from Vietnam Television (VTV).

Besides his role as a football commentator, Ta Bien Cuong also held the position of Deputy Head of the Sports Program Production Department at VTV. His decision to leave VTV came as a surprise to many.

Born in 1982 in Ha Nam province , Ta Bien Cuong graduated from the Academy of Journalism and Communication. He began his career at VTV as a football commentator starting from the 2006 World Cup, and also as an editor for programs such as "360 Degrees of Sports".

Ta Bien Cuong's name is associated with many major tournaments such as the World Cup, Euro, AFF Cup, SEA Games, U23 Asian Championship 2018 and Asian Cup 2019.

Ta Bien Cuong is known to audiences for his emotional, energetic commentary style and quick wit. He is famous for his unique quotes, which have often gone viral on social media.
