Customers participate in a lottery to purchase social housing.

This is the second draw for the XH2 social housing block within the OXH1 high-rise apartment complex (Thuy Van Complex Project Phase 2, Zone B - An Van Duong New Urban Area).

Accordingly, 104 customers participated in a lottery to purchase 18 social housing units. These customers are eligible for social housing support policies as stipulated by the Housing Law, meet the necessary conditions, and have submitted complete application documents to the investor as required. The lottery for purchasing social housing is conducted when the number of people wishing to purchase exceeds the number of social housing units available for sale.

The social housing project - OXH1 high-rise apartment building, Thuy Van Complex Phase 2, Zone B - An Van Duong New Urban Area, is invested by the joint venture of Cotana JSC and TELIN Group JSC with a total investment of 320 billion VND.

The social housing project, located on 20% of the land allocated to the Thuy Van Complex Project Phase 2, comprises two high-rise social housing apartment blocks (OXH1) with a total of 723 apartments and a low-rise social housing apartment block (OXH2) with 361 apartments.

To date, the investor has commenced construction on 2 out of 4 high-rise social housing blocks with a total of 364 apartments. Apartments in building XH3 have been completed and handed over to customers. Building XH2 is expected to be completed and handed over to customers in May 2025.

To implement the Government 's decision on "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial zone workers in the period 2021-2030," the City People's Committee has issued a social housing development plan, aiming to complete approximately 7,700 units by 2030. Of these, approximately 3,100 units will be completed in the 2021-2025 period and approximately 4,600 units in the 2025-2030 period. Specifically, 1,200 units will be constructed in 2025.
