Analysis of the nationwide distribution of scores for the 2023 high school graduation exam in Mathematics shows that: 1,003,372 candidates took the Mathematics exam, with an average score of 6.25 points, a median score of 6.6 points; and the most frequently achieved score was 7.6 points.
The number of candidates with a score of <= 1 is 123 (accounting for 0.012%); the number of candidates with a score below average is 217,093 (accounting for 21.64%).
