Regularly, on the second Monday of each month, the People's Committee of Hoa Dien commune organizes a morning coffee meeting with businesses. The meeting takes place in a warm and friendly atmosphere among commune leaders, specialized departments, banks, tax authorities, electricity companies, water supply and drainage companies, and more than 40 businesses, cooperatives, and individual business owners in the commune.
The program was simply a friendly gathering and exchange between commune leaders and businesses over a cup of coffee. Commune leaders listened to businesses and residents exchange ideas and provide feedback on what had been done well and what needed to be done in handling administrative procedures, as well as reporting difficulties and obstacles.
According to Mr. Le Thanh Huong, Secretary of the Hoa Dien Commune Party Committee, Hoa Dien is a purely agricultural commune. After the merger, the commune has a large natural area and a concentration of mineral deposits, which is favorable for the locality to develop large-scale high-tech agricultural production and the mining and construction materials industry. This is a potential and advantage for the socio -economic development of the commune. The goal is for Hoa Dien to become a relatively economically prosperous commune of the province by 2030. To achieve this goal, in addition to decisive leadership and direction in implementing tasks and solutions for socio-economic development and maximizing resources for development, the commune has determined that it must innovate and promote administrative reform, creating a favorable environment for businesses to invest in production and business in the area. Through the "Morning Coffee with Businesses" program, the commune hopes to build and enhance the image of a friendly government in the perception of the people and businesses. To build and maintain a healthy, friendly, and favorable environment for the socio-economic development of the locality.
After two successful events, the program received high praise from the business community, cooperatives, and local people. Many suggestions and feedback from businesses regarding issues such as tax declaration procedures, business licenses, construction permits, investment in transportation infrastructure, irrigation, electricity, and loans were promptly addressed by the leaders of the commune's People's Committee and relevant departments. Ms. Tran Chau Ngan from Tin Nong Biological Fertilizer Production and Trading Company Limited shared: “I am pleased that the Hoa Dien commune government organized these very practical meetings. I feel the respect from the local leaders, who are willing to share and support businesses in overcoming difficulties.”
Besides listening to and resolving difficulties, the program also serves as a platform for connecting and cooperating between businesses, and between businesses and cooperatives and individual producers and traders, in sharing experiences, farming techniques, improving production technology, digital transformation in production and business, linking product consumption, and expanding markets. Mr. Nguyen Van Cong - Director of Thuan Tien Agricultural Cooperative, Hoa Dien commune, said: “At the program, the cooperative had the opportunity to meet and connect with businesses processing and exporting rice, providing solutions for clean and organic agricultural production. This is an opportunity for the cooperative to boldly innovate its production organization and sign production linkage contracts in the future.”
