Lam Dong province recorded the sharpest decline, with coffee prices falling by 6,600 VND/kg to 89,700 VND/kg. Similarly, coffee prices in Gia Lai and Dak Lak also decreased by 6,000 VND/kg, currently being purchased at 90,500 VND/kg.

For the international market, coffee prices also fell significantly last week, especially Robusta. On the London exchange, the price of Robusta coffee for May 2026 delivery was $3,455/ton, down $317/ton; the July 2026 contract also fell $307/ton, to $3,372/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee futures for May 2026 delivery fell 8.2 US cents/pound to 285.15 US cents/pound; the July 2026 contract fell 9.1 US cents/pound to 279.4 US cents/pound.
According to traders, the fact that farmers have started selling more coffee due to concerns that prices may continue to fall has led to a rapid increase in supply, causing the market to plummet sharply last week.
