The term "singer with billions of views" is becoming increasingly unfamiliar.

Singer Xesi, the owner of the billion-view hit "Túy âm," is constantly reinventing herself, both in appearance and music.

Singer Xesi has released an EP titled "A Beautiful Day to Say Goodbye," featuring three songs with distinct styles, telling the story of an unfulfilled love.

The song "Let Her Go" begins with the innocent stirrings of first love; the song "It's Not as Good " is about the regrettable breakup of a relationship; and the title track "A Beautiful Day to Break Up" is the girl's decision to end things and move on.

The EP is Xesi's musical diary at age 25. The songwriting process happened quickly, stemming from her honest experiences and thoughts after overcoming a toxic relationship.

Through this product, Xesi wants to emphasize that moments of vulnerability or negative emotions are an inevitable part of the journey of growing up.

"That's how we learn and understand ourselves, realizing that not every breakup is sad, and everything happens for a reason. As long as you live life to the fullest, there will never be room for regret," she said.

Xesi also wants to show the audience more diverse musical styles, not confined to any particular genre.

The music video was filmed in a simple live performance style so that listeners could focus on the music. Throughout the production of the music video, Xesi frequently changed her mind, but the crew patiently listened and followed her instructions. Her costumes in the music video were made in just 3 days.

The EP " A Beautiful Day to Say Goodbye" is a gentle transition between the old and new versions of Xesi. She plans to introduce the "new Xesi" through her debut album later this year.

"Maybe I'll take more daring steps in music. I want to try things I've never done before, even if I'm not sure if the audience will like this 'new Xesi'," the singer confided.

Xesi was born in 2000, her real name is Tran Hai Yen. In 2017, at the age of 17, she composed the song "Tuy Am ," which garnered billions of views and made her famous.

Xesi and Ricky Star make a comeback to the music scene.
