According to the forecast of the Lao Cai Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station, tonight and tomorrow, localities in the province will have cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, and the high mountainous areas will experience cold weather from night to morning.

Therefore, people in localities, especially mountainous areas, need to be prepared for these types of natural disasters that can cause damage; be vigilant about localized heavy rainfall due to terrain conditions that can cause sudden flash floods in small streams and ravines, and landslides in steep areas.

CENTRAL AREA

Northern region: cloudy, with scattered moderate rain and thunderstorms, heavy rain in some areas; southeast wind at level 2; cold at night and in the morning in high mountainous areas, temperatures from 18 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Southern region: cloudy, with moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms; southeast wind at level 2; temperature from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Lao Cai ward and surrounding areas : cloudy, with occasional rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms; southeast wind at level 2; temperature from 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Yen Bai ward and surrounding areas: cloudy, with moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms; southeast wind at level 2; temperature from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.

TOURIST AREA

Sa Pa tourist area : cloudy, with moderate rain, sometimes heavy rain and thunderstorms; southeast wind at level 2; cold at night and early morning, temperature from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius.

Bac Ha tourist area: cloudy, with moderate rain, sometimes heavy rain and thunderstorms; southeast wind at level 2; cold at night and in the morning, temperature from 21 to 26 degrees Celsius.

Nghia Lo tourist area: cloudy, with moderate rain, sometimes heavy rain and thunderstorms; southeast wind at level 2; temperature from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Mu Cang Chai tourist area: cloudy, with moderate rain, sometimes heavy rain and thunderstorms; southeast wind at level 2; cold at night and in the morning; temperature from 22 to 27 degrees Celsius.
