1. Ingredients for making gummy candies
Passion fruit juice: 50ml
Gelatin: 25g
Sugar: 100g

2. How to make gummy candies
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients
Pour 50ml of passion fruit juice into a pot, then add about 25ml of filtered water and 100g of sugar. Stir well and wait 5 minutes for the sugar to dissolve completely.
Next, take a glass and add 125ml of filtered water and 25g of gelatin, then stir well until the gelatin swells.
Step 2 : Heat the ingredients.
Place the pot of passion fruit juice and sugar on the stove and simmer over low heat. Stir constantly while simmering.
When the passion fruit juice starts to bubble, add the soaked gelatin and stir well until the mixture dissolves completely, preventing it from sticking to the bottom of the pot and burning. When the mixture starts to simmer again, turn off the heat.
Step 3 : Pour into mold
Pour the mixture into the molds one by one to create attractive and appealing shapes for your child.

Step 4 : Completion
After pouring the mixture into the mold, let it cool, then place it in the freezer until the candy solidifies. Once the candy has solidified, remove it from the mold one by one to complete the process.
3. Notes when making gummy candies
Although making gummy candies is quite simple, you need to keep the following points in mind during the process:
The water ratio should be five times the gelatin powder ratio (for example, if using 50g of gelatin, you need 250ml of water), and you must follow the correct water-to-gelatin soaking ratio according to the recipe.
Do not boil the fruit juice mixture excessively. Boiling it excessively will cause the gelatin to lose its gelling and binding properties.
Gelatin can be replaced with agar powder.
Besides passion fruit juice, other fruit juices or syrups can be used to flavor the candy, such as: strawberry (red), butterfly pea flower (purple), mint (green), coffee (dark brown), etc.
When using syrup, you can reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe to suit your taste.
White granulated sugar can be replaced with malt sugar of the same weight.
Once the candy chips have solidified, store them in an airtight container or bag. They can be kept for 4 days at room temperature and about a month in the refrigerator.
The finished product should be a chewy, crunchy candy with a tangy passion fruit flavor and a sweet sugary taste. Homemade candy contains no preservatives, so it's safe for children to eat.
