Running activities have been very vibrant in recent years, with large and small competitions held in provinces and cities across the country. The book " Running Handbook for Lazy People" (Giver Books and The World Publishing House) is a very valuable resource for runners, especially beginners.

It's not uncommon to see people jogging in the mornings or evenings. However, while this encouraging activity is commendable, it's important to note that proper running techniques are essential for improving one's health.

Author Nguyen Huy Phat himself has achieved many running accomplishments, including completing the 100km Ultra Road Binh Duong in 2023, conquering the 42km distance 20 times, finishing the 21km distance more than 100 times, completing the 10km Oceanman Cam Ranh Swimming Race in 2023, and completing the Ironman 70.3 six times.

Alongside running, he has also been involved in many activities to encourage the running community, which earned him the Inspirational Leader 2023 award from the VietRace365 Awards.

"The Running Guide for Lazy People" offers a wealth of useful knowledge and experiences for those who want to take up running.

Running isn't simply about putting on your shoes and running, or walking… this sport requires a lot of knowledge, experience, and skills to learn. Through the book "Running Handbook for Lazy People ," author Nguyen Huy Phat answers several questions such as: When should you do interval training, when should you do sprinting, long-distance running, or recovery running? What are the appropriate warm-up exercises and stretching exercises? Is it okay to run while undergoing cancer treatment? What should you do if you want to achieve a 21km Pace 8 goal and have 3 months to prepare?

Along with that come fundamental questions like: I want to run, but how do I overcome the laziness within me? How should I run downhill, and how should I run uphill? What are the appropriate ways to cope with bad weather? What are the best ways to refuel while running?

Notably, in addition to the author Nguyen Huy Phat's personal insights, the book also features contributions from many prominent figures in the Vietnamese running community. They share true stories, such as overcoming illness, defying age, and building running communities, adding significant value to the book.

The right knowledge leads to the right actions, and the right actions will produce the right results. Therefore, this book is a practical guide for anyone who has taken up or is considering taking up running.
