More investment is needed in primary healthcare.

Commune and ward health stations need to be fully equipped with facilities, medicines, equipment, and personnel to meet the basic healthcare needs of the people.

I wholeheartedly agree with the Party's policy and direction on building a fair, high-quality, efficient, and sustainable healthcare system. Over the years, our country's healthcare sector has achieved many remarkable accomplishments, especially in disease prevention and control, and in caring for and protecting the health of the people. However, in reality, there are still many shortcomings that need to be addressed so that the healthcare system can better serve the people, especially the poor and those living in remote areas.

First and foremost, continued and comprehensive investment in primary healthcare is necessary. Commune and ward health stations need to be fully equipped with facilities, medicines, equipment, and personnel to meet the initial healthcare needs of the people.

Healthcare facilities located close to the people, if operating effectively, will contribute to reducing the burden on higher-level hospitals and better achieving the goal of universal healthcare. In addition, emphasis should be placed on training and developing healthcare professionals in both expertise and ethics; improving remuneration policies, especially for doctors and medical staff working in disadvantaged areas, so that they can feel secure and committed to their work.

I also fully agree with and support the goal of essentially free medical examinations and treatment within the scope of health insurance benefits by 2030, as outlined in the roadmap. Currently, the cost of medical examinations and treatment remains a burden for many households, especially the poor, near-poor, and the elderly. If a policy of universal free medical examinations and treatment is implemented, it will alleviate financial pressure, contribute to social security stability, and improve the quality of life and life expectancy of the people.

I am confident that, with strong political will and the unity of the entire population, the goal of building an equitable, high-quality, efficient, and sustainable healthcare system will soon become a reality.
