The statement was made by the Russian leader on the sidelines of the 11th Summit of Leaders Responsible for International Security, currently taking place in Moscow. President Putin added that Moscow is ready to cooperate with all interested countries to address common security threats and challenges.
"I am confident that together we will achieve the goal of a more multipolar and equitable world , and that the ideology of monopoly, as well as the neo-colonial system aimed at exploiting global resources, will certainly become a thing of the past," the Russian leader told foreign security officials.

President Putin stated that Russia has partners in many different regions and continents, and that the authorities in these countries appreciate their relationship with Moscow.
"We highly value the stable, friendly, and truly trustworthy relations that have existed for many years with countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, and Moscow will strengthen them in every way possible," Putin emphasized.
At the meeting of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states in Moscow late last year, President Putin also stated that the emergence of a multipolar world order is an objective and irreversible process of history.
President Putin noted the fact that new centers of development are emerging in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, increasingly actively defending their national interests, sovereignty , and right to development.
