With the advantage of being the province with the largest tea-growing area in the country, along with more than 800 historical and religious relics and scenic spots, Thai Nguyen has strengths in cultural , spiritual, historical, heritage, ecological, and resort tourism, and especially community and rural tourism associated with tea culture.

For most tourists of all ages, a memorable experience in Thai Nguyen is visiting historical sites, exploring tea hills, learning about the tea-making process, and enjoying local specialties in a tea-cultural setting.

Every day, the Hao Dat Tea Cooperative (Nam Dong hamlet, Tan Cuong commune) receives a considerable number of visitors. Despite her busy schedule, artisan Dao Thi Hao, the director of the cooperative, still takes the time to welcome, interact with, and share her journey in creating a national 5-star OCOP product and the development of the province's largest tea cooperative. The exquisite cup of tea is made even more flavorful by the admiration for this intelligent, strong-willed, and resilient woman from the tea-growing region.

Artisan Le Quang Nghin from Hong Thai 2 hamlet (Tan Cuong commune) is a captivating storyteller about tea. For many years, Mr. Nghin has been a model farmer and successful businessman in the Tan Cuong tea-growing region. His family's tea garden is beautifully planned, and they preserve ancient tea trees planted in 1928 to serve tourists and provide opportunities for souvenir photos.

Mr. Le Quang Nghin is always proud of traditional Tan Cuong bud tea, a tea that embodies the soul of this precious tea region and has been trusted by consumers for over a century. This distinctive tea is made from the "one bud, two leaves" of the midland tea variety. For tea connoisseurs, traditional hook-shaped bud tea remains the best.

Mr. Le Quang Nghin's house welcomes many "Western guests" even though he hasn't invested much in accommodation. Tourists from far-off countries come to his house simply to admire the tea garden, watch the tea plants being watered, play with the children, eat a few simple dishes, and take a few photos—that's enough to make them happy. They say goodbye and always return on another occasion, becoming true family members.

At Ha Thai Tea Joint Stock Company (La Bang commune), tourists can experience the picturesque tea hills, where tea is produced using organic methods, and listen to artisan Nguyen Thi Hien, Chairman of the Board of Directors, proudly talk about the product that won a Silver award at the North American International Specialty Tea Competition and her plans for exporting high-quality tea products in the near future.

Free tea tasting has become a beautiful cultural tradition widely implemented throughout the province. Tourists have commented that Thai Nguyen has done a good job in welcoming visitors, introducing delicious tea, organizing tea tasting spaces, and providing experiences in tea cultivation and processing.

Although they all produce tea, each region has its own story, linked to its geographical characteristics, historical and cultural factors, creating differences in product, production methods, and uses. These stories, told with pride by the tea growers, are both captivating and persuasive, capturing the essence of the product and leaving a lasting impression on visitors.

The sincerity and simplicity of the tea makers, along with centuries-old stories of Thai Nguyen tea with its ups and downs intertwined with the lives of hundreds of thousands of households, have helped visitors understand and love this land even more. Driven by passion and deep understanding of tea, many people in Thai Nguyen have become true "cultural ambassadors," preserving a treasure trove of knowledge about the craft and tea culture.

Visitors experience the image of Thai Nguyen as a peaceful, friendly, and hospitable place through conversations with tea producers. This is not only an opportunity to share stories about the land and its people, but also a chance to promote the product and contribute to the sustainable development of the Thai Nguyen tea brand.
