On June 6th, the Can Tho City Student Support Center and Can Tho Medical College, in coordination with the Southwestern Mobile Police Regiment, organized free medical examinations and dispensed free medicine to residents in Phu Huu commune.

The program has supported over 300 people from disadvantaged families, war veterans, and those in difficult circumstances. Doctors, nurses, and medical students conducted blood pressure checks, general health examinations, provided health care advice for the elderly, and distributed over 300 free doses of medicine. In addition, the organizers also distributed over 300 practical gifts to the people, with a total cost exceeding 150 million VND.

Beyond just providing medical care, since the beginning of 2026, the units have implemented many meaningful social welfare programs.
