Speaking at the competition, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tang, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, said that the education sector had completed the first cycle of the 2018 General Education Program with many advantages. Among them, a noteworthy advantage was the focus on teaching, forming, and developing essential practical skills and qualities in students. However, many teachers still face difficulties in translating theory into practice. Therefore, strengthening the integration of STEM education into teaching and organizing educational activities at the primary and secondary school levels has received much support.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tang added that in the STEM education field, Robothon is of particular interest to students, who actively participate in research and competitions. Over the past time, many outstanding Can Tho students in this field have won numerous high awards in competitions both domestically and internationally, bringing glory to the city. This competition is very meaningful because it serves as an important basis for the city to select the most優秀 students for training and development, aiming to prepare them to compete internationally.

The competition serves as a basis for Can Tho City to select talented students in Robothon to participate in the national competition, seeking opportunities to reach international levels.
