Dragon's Eye Fishing Port is a mooring place for many large vessels that fish far offshore in the Gulf of Tonkin. Its location resembles "the eye of a dragon". This is one of the largest fishing ports in Hai Phong . Here, 400 boats can anchor simultaneously, ensuring the safety of fishermen seeking shelter from storms. Fishermen who catch seafood in the Gulf of Tonkin exchange and sell their goods at the port. Agencies and units regularly participate in cleaning up the environment at the port. Besides the core role of Vietnamese authorities in safeguarding the sea area, coordination with international forces also takes place regularly. Border Guard forces patrol and control the Mat Rong fishing port area, contributing to ensuring security and order. The People's Committee of Nam Trieu ward, in coordination with relevant agencies, has closed the fishing boats that do not meet the requirements to go to sea at Mat Rong fishing port to ensure safety. With its unique location, the Mat Rong fishing port will receive modern investment, serving as a "foundation" for fishermen to stabilize and develop their profession, contributing to the protection of the homeland's seas and islands.LOYALTY
