Online collaborators will make the first purchase, the second will be paid a full commission (including the transferred principal + 10-15% commission) to the account to create trust. Most of the victims (online collaborators) only discovered the scam after transferring money to these objects from a few hundred million to billions of dong without receiving the principal back and being removed from the exchange groups.
The Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy said it has coordinated with the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05 - Ministry of Public Security) to warn about the new tricks of the above crime and advise people and businesses not to participate in online groups of collaborators to recruit child models without authentic information, especially official information from brands.
The second is not to provide personal information to strangers and unknown people in cyberspace; don't make friends, don't join Zalo, Facebook, Viber ... unknown groups.
Third, brand-owning businesses need to warn/notify on mass media (press, website and social networking site) about the above-mentioned scams so that people know and avoid.
Fourth, regularly monitor and update criminal information to prevent and report to the nearest police agency or provide information to businesses that own brands about such tricks.
