(NLĐO) - Da Nang City recently welcomed and assisted in organizing the wedding ceremony of an Indian couple with over 250 guests.

On February 5th, the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center announced that the city had recently welcomed and supported the wedding ceremony of an Indian couple, marking the beginning of Da Nang's wedding tourism activities in 2026.

The wedding took place on February 2nd and 3rd at Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An (Thang An commune). The bride is Ms. Shreya and the groom is Mr. Ayush.

The event impressed with its harmonious blend of seaside destination setting and distinctive traditional Indian rituals such as Gauri Pooja, Sehrabandi, and Baraat, creating an atmosphere rich in emotion and cultural identity.

The wedding of the Indian couple took place at Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An.

According to the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center, this wedding ceremony was held as part of the program to attract wedding tourists to Da Nang in 2026.

As soon as the couple and their entourage arrived at Da Nang International Airport, the city organized a welcoming ceremony by displaying congratulatory messages on LED screens in the immigration area, and assisting with customs procedures for luggage and wedding equipment.

The wedding ceremony harmoniously blended the seaside setting with traditional Indian rituals.

Representatives from the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center personally presented flowers and souvenirs, and offered their blessings to the bride and groom. In addition, the city supported local cultural experiences such as performances of traditional folk instruments.

In particular, the silent fireworks display at the hotel where the couple held their wedding reception is considered a new highlight of the 2026 program, contributing to creating an emotional impression for the wedding tourism event.

Speaking at the event, bride Shreya and groom Ayush said they were very impressed by the warm and thoughtful welcome from Da Nang and the meaningful gifts the city had given them.

According to the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center, in 2026, Da Nang will continue to promote the brand "Da Nang – The Source of Happiness," focusing on supporting tour groups organizing weddings, honeymoons, and related activities, thereby extending their stay and increasing their spending.

A new feature of the 2026 program is the adjustment of support scale to be more flexible and in line with current wedding trends. Simultaneously, the support content will be expanded to include in-depth experiences, focusing on local culture and personalized services for each customer market. In particular, silent celebratory fireworks displays have been identified as a unique highlight of Da Nang wedding tourism.

Simultaneously, the city is strengthening public-private partnerships, connecting tourism businesses, wedding organizers, and airlines, and promoting the application of digital technology in promotion, advertising, and communication.

In 2025, Da Nang welcomed and supported over 50 wedding tourism events from key markets such as the US, Australia, India, and the Vietnamese diaspora. Specifically in the first quarter of 2026, many large hotels and resorts such as Hyatt Regency Da Nang Resort & Spa, Shilla Monogram Danang, Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An, Furama Resort Da Nang… have recorded high demand and bookings for numerous weddings.
