Accordingly, in Decision No. 92/QD-SKHCN dated August 10, Department of Science and Technology granted the Certificate of Right to Use Geographical Indication "Ngoc Linh" for ginseng products of Ngoc Linh Ginseng Joint Stock Company. Kon Tum, with the geographical indication code C8-SNLKTG.
The number of certified ginseng root products is 10.000 plants; are older than 10 years; planted in plot 3, plot 2, sub-zone 220, in Mang Ri commune, Tu Mo Rong district. Geographic coordinates: X 00548631/Y 01657137 (±3m); X 00548671/Y 01657039 (±5m); X 00548696/Y 01657071 (±3m); X 00548671/Y 01657138 (±5m).
The Pharmaceutical Association of Kon Tum Province is responsible for issuing, managing and granting the geographical indication stamp "Ngoc Linh" to Kon Tum Ngoc Linh Ginseng Joint Stock Company according to the quantity of ginseng roots exploited.
Ngoc Linh Ginseng Joint Stock Company Kon Tum has the right to use the geographical indication "Ngoc Linh" for certified ginseng root products. At the same time, it is responsible for complying with the Regulation on the management and use of the geographical indication "Ngoc Linh" for ginseng root products of Kon Tum province and relevant legal regulations.
