According to PhoneArena , the DWH5600 becomes the second smartwatch in the G-SHOCK Move family launched by Casio this year, following the GBDH2000. The new product offers several features to support daily activities, health and fitness tracking, as well as heart rate monitoring technology.
The DWH5600 will be priced at $300 when it goes on sale on May 19th.
Casio's hybrid smartwatch model features several modes supporting four different activities: running, walking, gym workouts, and interval training. The smartwatch's optical heart rate sensor uses LED light to detect any changes in blood flow. Additionally, the DWH5600 includes an accelerometer for step counting and built-in GPS.
In addition, the main features of the Casio DWH5600 include a shock-resistant design and 200-meter water resistance, support for solar or USB charging, world time display (38 cities + UTC), sunrise/sunset times, stopwatch, countdown timer, vibration alert, etc.
Some key components of the smartwatch, such as the case, frame, and strap, are made from bioplastics. In fact, Casio used bio-carbon fiber reinforced plastic on the case, making it the first product in the G-SHOCK line to offer this feature.
Users can now pre-order the G-SHOCK Move DWH5600-1 or DWH5600-2 for $300 through the company's official online store. The watches will be available for purchase at select retailers and online starting May 19th.
