
Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said: Identifying the relief work and supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters as one of the key tasks, in recent times, the Fatherland Front at all levels has always grasped the situation, closely coordinated with the government and member organizations to promptly mobilize, receive and allocate support resources. During the implementation process, the Fatherland Front at all levels always ensures the principles of publicity, transparency, correct objects, correct purposes, thereby promoting the spirit of solidarity and mutual love in the community.
To do a good job in relief work, the Fatherland Front at all levels strictly implements the relief process from reviewing to calculating detailed damage statistics, ensuring accuracy. Units make a list of households in need of support, coordinate the allocation of relief resources in a timely manner, to the right people, according to needs, avoiding waste and errors. This process is carried out publicly, transparently, with community supervision to promote effectiveness and create consensus among the people.

Typically, after storm No. 11 caused a major impact across the province, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee propagated and mobilized agencies, units and all classes of people to support people affected by the storm. At the same time, it advised the issuance of an Open Letter from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on mobilizing support for people affected by storms and floods in the province. On that basis, the Provincial Fatherland Front at all levels propagated and called for support from businesses, organizations, groups and individuals inside and outside the province to help the locality have more resources to support. Currently, the Provincial "Relief" Fund has received more than 76 billion VND in support and has spent over 64 billion VND to help people in communes in the province severely affected by the storm.
Mr. Duong Huu Tuan, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nhat Hoa Commune, said: After storm No. 11, the whole commune had more than 200 houses flooded, nearly 80 houses affected by landslides, rice and crop areas were damaged with a value of nearly 8 billion VND... To support the people, the Fatherland Front of the commune proactively connected, received support to distribute to the affected people. Up to now, the commune has received and distributed many gifts including cash, necessities, drinking water... to the people with a value of nearly 900 million VND.
At the same time, the Fatherland Front at all levels has also helped many families affected by fires and other incidents. From 2024 to now, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has mobilized more than 240 billion VND; spent nearly 200 billion VND to support households affected by natural disasters, fires and other risks. Since the beginning of 2025 alone, the Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized nearly 80 billion VND and spent nearly 70 billion VND in support to promptly help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and restore production.
Mrs. Tran Thi Moc, Goc Sau village, Thien Tan commune shared: The recent storm No. 11 caused my family's level 4 house to completely collapse. Thanks to the attention and connection of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, my family has received support from organizations and benefactors with a total budget of more than 300 million VND. This valuable help has provided more resources for my family to soon rebuild a new house and stabilize our lives.
In addition to material support, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations also focus on spiritual encouragement, helping people overcome difficulties after natural disasters and calamities. After completing the relief work, the Fatherland Front at all levels continues to coordinate to grasp the living conditions of the people, monitor the use of financial resources and material support, ensuring the right purpose and right target.
It can be seen that the Fatherland Front at all levels has become an important bridge, sharing the hearts between charitable organizations and individuals with people facing difficulties in natural disasters, contributing to building a united and compassionate community.
