The Association of Former Resistance Fighters and Prisoners of War in the city presents gifts to its members.

The City's Association of War Veterans, in coordination with various agencies and units, presented gifts to disadvantaged cadres and members totaling 74.8 million VND. The Associations of War Veterans in districts, counties, and grassroots levels mobilized social resources to provide 762 gifts worth over 319 million VND to help members celebrate the Lunar New Year. The City's Association of War Veterans also collaborated with the Social Policy Bank to support 18 member families with loans totaling 530 million VND for economic development; and maintained 14 revolving interest-free loan groups with 137 participants contributing over 200 million VND. Furthermore, the City's Association of War Veterans regularly visited members during illness and attended funerals.
