Avoid year-end job scams.

The leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs also provided information on the employment situation at the end of the year, and advised workers to avoid being scammed when looking for jobs.

Accordingly, in recent times, the media has frequently published articles warning about the gullibility of workers who believe advertisements for easy jobs with high salaries, especially information posted on social media.

"In response to this situation, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has sent a document to localities and training institutions informing them of issues to pay attention to and requesting that units strengthen information dissemination to the public, students, and pupils to be vigilant against fraudulent schemes that exploit the desire to find jobs quickly, with low recruitment requirements and easy work; and to provide a list of units with employment service functions so that workers can proactively cross-check them," Ms. Toi said.

In addition, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has requested the City Police to direct its operational units to implement measures to prevent, combat, and stop misleading advertising tactics on social media related to job counseling and placement.

"Workers need to be wary of advertising information and must verify it; workers seeking employment domestically should contact employment service centers and licensed employment service businesses to find recruitment information and choose suitable jobs," Ms. Toi shared.
