According to The Athletic , Grealish will soon undergo a thorough examination by specialists in the coming days to determine the exact severity of his injury. However, the worst-case scenario remains, with the 30-year-old potentially facing months on the sidelines.
Notably, Grealish played the full 90 minutes in Everton's 1-0 victory over Aston Villa in the 22nd round of the Premier League. However, the former Man City star's persistent pain has forced the medical team to conduct more in-depth examinations.
This news has caused Everton considerable concern, as Grealish is currently one of the team's most important creative players under manager David Moyes this season.
