Helping children fulfill their dreams.

Talent is an exceptional ability in a particular field, which can be innate or developed through learning and training. For children with exceptional abilities, nothing is more valuable than the attention, recognition, and nurturing they receive from their families and society. This allows them to better develop their special abilities and pursue their dreams.

Showcase your talent, spread your passion.

Arriving early to prepare for the final performance of the "Singing Contest" in the summer of 2025, organized by the Da Nang Children's Palace, Pham Hoang Khanh Duyen, a 5th-grade student from Bui Thi Xuan Primary School, nervously shared: "This is the second time I've participated in a major city-wide competition for children. Today, I'm performing a solo with the song 'The Sound of Rain' by composer Hoang Luong. Each time I participate in a competition, I feel more confident and it helps me improve my solo singing techniques when standing in front of the stage."

To achieve this result, Ms. Hoang Ngoc Quyen, mother of Pham Hoang Khanh Duyen (Hoa Khanh Bac ward, Lien Chieu district), said that she discovered her daughter's musical talent from a young age and enrolled her in violin lessons at the age of 5. Because of this early exposure to music, her daughter's musical talent developed very well. To help her daughter develop in a supportive environment, she continued to enroll her in the Golden Oriole Club at the Da Nang Children's Palace from the 3rd grade until now. “Recently, she has confidently participated in several competitions such as the “Shine on 2025” competition organized by the Da Nang Children's Palace in collaboration with the City Youth Union, the City Children's Council, Sky-Line Education System, and Rong Tien Sa Media Joint Stock Company, and the “Golden Oriole Singing Contest” in the summer of 2025, also organized by the Da Nang Children's Palace. These competitions have provided a platform for her to build confidence and stage presence, thereby developing her talent,” Ms. Quyen shared.

Pham Hoang Khanh Duyen is one of the 18 outstanding contestants competing in the final round of the "Singing Contest" in the summer of 2025. After more than a month of implementation, the contest attracted nearly 50 participants from three provinces and cities: Da Nang, Binh Dinh, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau . Musician Nguyen Nhan, Director of the Da Nang Children's Palace, said: "The contest takes place right on International Children's Day, with the desire to bring the best things to the children. The Da Nang Children's Palace has regularly organized talent development activities over the years. This summer, with the support and cooperation of musician Hoang Luong, a person who has dedicated a lot of passion to children, the contest not only contributes to discovering musical talent among children but also creates a beneficial and healthy playground, providing opportunities for children in the city to develop their talents and passion for art."

This year, the Da Nang Children's Palace, in collaboration with the City Youth Union, the City Children's Council, the Sky-Line Education system, and Rong Tien Sa Media Joint Stock Company, organized the "Shine on - Shining Young Talents" competition in 2025. The competition attracted over 300 contestants and groups from primary and secondary schools across the city. Participants showcased diverse talents including singing, dancing (folk, modern, and contemporary), danceport, aerobics, MCing, magic shows, and musical instrument performances. This allowed young talents to confidently shine and inspire a passion for art in other children.

Let's work together to continue pursuing our dreams.

To create opportunities for exchange, learning, and fostering artistic creativity for disadvantaged children, children with disabilities, and orphans in the city, on the occasion of the 2025 Action Month for Children, the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts, in coordination with the City's Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans, the City's Center for Nurturing Disadvantaged Children (Village of Hope), and the Hoa Mai Orphanage, organized a children's art exhibition with the theme "Raising Wings of Dreams 2025". The exhibition showcases nearly 50 paintings created by children using crayons, oil pastels, watercolors, etc., on paper. Although the children still face difficulties and hardships, each painting is a window into their colorful inner world, expressing beautiful dreams, love for their homeland, and the aspiration to rise above their simple yet vibrant aspirations.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Trinh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, said this is the third time the Museum has organized this meaningful activity for children with disabilities. “With the desire to become a bridge connecting hearts, the exhibition “Raising Wings of Dreams 2025” not only spreads a love of art but also conveys a profound message about compassion, companionship, and the responsibility of society towards the future generation – the young sprouts who are striving to overcome difficulties every day. This is also an opportunity for the public to listen, understand, and share the stories of those who are disadvantaged; at the same time, it contributes to inspiring faith, giving them more strength to live, and helping them become more confident on their journey of community integration and self-development,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Trinh emphasized.

At the exhibition, the museum organized art-related activities specifically for children, such as printing Dong Ho folk paintings, printing graphic art with powder paints, and sculpting with clay. Notably, Green Bee Investment, Trading and Service Co., Ltd. sponsored gifts for all children whose paintings were displayed at the exhibition, and Thinh Minh An Co., Ltd. set up a booth showcasing "Da Nang Handicraft Souvenirs," featuring handcrafted products made by poor and disabled artisans, such as bamboo toothpick models, recycled fabric bags, woolen keychains, and paper flower greeting cards. Ngo Minh Duc, a student at the Hoa Mai Orphanage in Da Nang, happily shared that this was his second time participating in this meaningful activity. Besides visiting the museum, they also had the opportunity to participate in cultural performances, thereby developing their talents to pursue their dreams.

Regularly involved in activities supporting underprivileged and disadvantaged children, Ms. Tran Thi My Quyen, Director of Thinh Minh An Co., Ltd., said that in the "Nurturing Dreams 2025" program, the company participated in displaying all products made by people with disabilities and vulnerable groups, such as greeting cards, flower vases, models made from bamboo toothpicks, mesh baskets, keychains, paintings on wood, fabric bags, etc. "The company is connecting the vulnerable community and helping to spread their products to everyone. Through this activity, we hope that people and tourists understand that orphaned and disabled children all have their own unique value, and they demonstrate their resilience and love of life through the products they make themselves," Ms. Quyen shared.
