Shine your talent, spread your passion

Arriving early to prepare for the final performance of the "Vanh Khuyen Singing Contest" in the summer of 2025 organized by the Da Nang Children's Palace, Pham Hoang Khanh Duyen, grade 5 of Bui Thi Xuan Primary School, excitedly shared: "This is the second time I have participated in a major competition in the city for children. Today, I competed in a solo performance with the song "Tieng Mua" by musician Hoang Luong. Every time I participate in the contest, I feel more confident and it helps me gain more skills in solo singing techniques when standing on stage."

To achieve this result, Ms. Hoang Ngoc Quyen, mother of Pham Hoang Khanh Duyen (Hoa Khanh Bac ward, Lien Chieu district) said that she discovered that her child had a talent for music since childhood and sent her to violin lessons at the age of 5. Because she was exposed to music from a young age, her musical talent developed very well. In order to help her child have an environment to develop, she continued to let her child participate in the Vang Anh Club at the Da Nang Children's Palace from grade 3 until now. “Recently, the child has confidently participated in a number of competitions such as “Shine on 2025” organized by the Da Nang Children’s Palace in collaboration with the City Youth Union, the City Council, Sky-Line Education System and Rong Tien Sa Media Joint Stock Company and the “Vanh Khuyen Singing Contest” in the summer of 2025 organized by the Da Nang Children’s Palace. These competitions have created a playground for the child to be confident and have stage presence, thereby developing his talent,” Ms. Quyen shared.

Pham Hoang Khanh Duyen is one of the 18 best contestants competing in the final night of the "Vanh Khuyen Singing" contest in the summer of 2025. After more than a month of implementation, the contest attracted nearly 50 contestants from 3 provinces and cities: Da Nang, Binh Dinh and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Musician Nguyen Nhan, Director of Da Nang Children's Palace said: "The contest takes place right on the occasion of International Children's Day with the desire to bring the best things to the children. Da Nang Children's Palace has regularly organized talent activities in recent years. This summer, it has received the attention and coordination of musician Hoang Luong, a person who is very dedicated to children. The contest not only contributes to finding children's musical talents, but also creates a useful and healthy playground, creating conditions for children in the city to develop their talents and passion for art".

This year, Da Nang Children's Palace cooperated with the City Youth Union, the City Council of Young Pioneers, Sky-Line Education System and Rong Tien Sa Media Joint Stock Company to organize the "Shine on - Shining Young Talents" Contest in 2025. The contest attracted more than 300 contestants and groups from primary and secondary schools in the city. At the program, contestants participated in a variety of genres such as singing, dancing in folk, modern, contemporary genres, dancerport, aerobic dance, MC, magic show, musical instrument performance... Thereby helping young talents confidently shine and inspire their passion for art to children.

Together we continue to write our dreams

In order to create opportunities for exchange, learning and promoting artistic creativity for disadvantaged children, disabled children and orphans in the city, on the occasion of the Month of Action for Children 2025, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum in collaboration with the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of the City, the Center for Children in Difficulty (Lang Hy Hope) and the Hoa Mai Orphanage Center organized a children's painting exhibition with the theme "Lifting Wings of Dreams 2025". The exhibition introduces nearly 50 paintings created by children using wax, oil pastel, watercolor... on paper. Although the children are still in difficult and deprived circumstances, each painting is a door opening to a colorful inner world, expressing beautiful dreams, love for the homeland and country, and the desire to rise up from simple but vibrant dreams.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Trinh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, said that this is the third time the Fine Arts Museum has organized this meaningful activity for children with disabilities. “With the desire to become a bridge connecting hearts, the exhibition “Lifting Dreams 2025” not only spreads the love of art but also conveys a profound message about humanity, companionship and social responsibility towards the future generation - the green shoots that are striving to rise up from hardship every day. This is also an opportunity for the public to listen, understand and share the fates of those who are still disadvantaged; at the same time, it contributes to arousing faith, adding vitality, helping children to be more confident on their journey of integrating into the community and developing themselves”, Ms. Nguyen Thi Trinh emphasized.

At the exhibition, the museum organized art experience activities for children such as printing Dong Ho folk paintings, printing colored graphic paintings, and modeling clay. In particular, Green Bee Investment, Trade and Service Company Limited sponsored gifts to all children whose paintings were displayed at the exhibition and Thinh Minh An Company Limited displayed a booth "Da Nang Handicraft Souvenirs" introducing handicraft products made by poor and disabled workers, such as bamboo toothpick models, recycled cloth bags, wool keychains, paper flower cards, etc. Ngo Minh Duc, a student at Hoa Mai Orphanage Center in Da Nang, happily said that this was the second time he had participated in this meaningful activity. Besides visiting the museum, we also had the opportunity to participate in performing arts activities, thereby developing our talents to realize our dreams.

Regularly accompanying the activities of poor and unfortunate children, Ms. Tran Thi My Quyen, Director of Thinh Minh An Company Limited, said that in the program "Lifting Dreams 2025", the company participated in displaying all the products made by the disabled and disadvantaged people such as greeting cards, flower vases, models made of bamboo toothpicks, mesh baskets, key chains, wood paintings, cloth bags, etc. "The company is connecting the disadvantaged community and helping to spread their products to everyone. Through this activity, we hope that people and tourists understand that orphans and disabled children all have their own values and they express their determination with their love for life through the products they make themselves", Ms. Quyen shared.
